It is full of flavour and turns a can of sardines into a whole meal that goes well with fresh white bread and wine. The sardines come straight from the boats to the factory. Fishing takes place right off the coast of Rome, near Anzio. Founded in 1889, Pollastrini was the first Italian company to specialise in canning sardines.
